Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials are looking for a suspect, or suspects, in connection with the theft of an electronic speed limit sign in Prescott Valley. Deputies were called to Poquito Way and Esteem Way back on July 23rd on a report of the theft. A county roads employee says the sign was stolen sometime between 2 p.m. on July 22nd and 9:30 a.m. on July 23rd. The sign was purchased with grant money by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and is worth around $55-hundred dollars. The sign was found this morning stashed in some weeds, with the solar panel missing, near Falcons Nest Way off Poquito Valley Road in Prescott Valley. However officials are still looking for any suspects in the theft.
