Yavapai College and Embry-Riddle University have joined other colleges and universities across Arizona and has implemented social distancing procedures. Officials say face-to-face classes will be delayed for all students for one week at Yavapai College. On March 23rd, face-to-face classes will move to virtual instruction until at least April 6th. Online classes will resume as scheduled on Monday. The move was made as a precaution due to the coronavirus pandemic. Embry-Riddle University announced they are extending spring break to Wednesday, March 18th with classes going online then. There have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Yavapai County or on any of the Yavapai College Campuses or at Embry-Riddle.
