Work Begins To Add A Second Right-Turn Lane At Route 66 And Humphreys In Flagstaff

A construction project will clog up traffic starting this week in Flagstaff. ADOT crews will be working to add a second right-turn lane at the intersection of Route 66 and Humphreys Street. Restrictions on southbound Humphreys include no left turns south of Cherry Avenue, including the intersections of Cherry and Aspen Avenues and Humphreys and Route 66. Restrictions on northbound Humphreys include no left turn at Aspen Avenue. One lane in each direction on Humphreys will remain open during construction. Crews will set up a short detour for southbound traffic on Beaver Street between Dale Avenue and Route 66. The project will be under construction through the fall.
