A woman wanted for a probation violation, and was Day 7 of January’s “Catch 22” program, was arrested Friday in Dewey. Just after 4 p.m. Friday, detectives conducted a traffic stop on a tractor-trailer on Kachina Place and State Route 69. Authorities found 29-year-old Brittany Gore hiding in a sleeper berth of the truck’s cab and placed her under arrest. As detectives went to arrest 33-year-old William Robert Scott for providing false information to conceal Gore’s identity, he resisted arrest. A probably cause search turned up meth and drug paraphernalia in the cab. Gore was arrested for the felony warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia. Scott was booked on drug possession, drug paraphernalia possession, resisting arrest, hindering prosecution and false reporting. Gore’s warrant was on charges she ransacked a home in Cordes Lakes back in 2018. She was charged and placed on probation at the time.
