Witnesses Helped Law Enforcement Arrest A Chino Valley Woman Wanted In Connection With Multiple Thefts In Prescott Valley

A Chino Valley woman has been arrested in connection with multiple thefts, thanks to witnesses helping investigators. Prescott Valley Police say between June 19th and October 7th, a woman committed four separate thefts totaling $27-hundred from Home Depot and Wal-Mart in Prescott Valley. During the thefts, Prescott Valley Police investigated each incident. On Thursday, October 6th a theft took place at the Prescott Valley Home Depot. At around 6:45 p.m. 25-year-old Kaylin Forest scanned two items worth ten dollars and passed all checkpoints with two shopping carts fully-loaded with tools and equipment. When an employee tried to stop her, she rammed a shopping cart into the employee. Forest left the store with the items. During the incident, a witness saw Forest drop her cellphone and another witness identified the license plate number of the vehicle Forest got into and drove off. After an investigation, Forest was located in Chino Valley and was arrested by Chino Valley Police and Prescott Valley Police detectives. She has been booked for two warrants, two felony charges and a misdemeanor.
