Winter Weather and Wind advisories have been issued for Sunday for areas above 7,000-feet. The National Weather Service issued the Winter Weather Advisory from 2 a.m. until noon Sunday. A wind advisory will be in effect from midnight until 5 p.m. Sunday. Forecasters say snow showers will increase late Saturday through Sunday morning with two-to-four inches of snow expected in Flagstaff. Winds are expected to be strong, topping out at 40-to-50 miles per hour, with higher gusts at times. Travel could be difficult to impossible at times as areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. If you have travel plans tomorrow, use caution and keep your eyes on the weather.
