A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for some areas of Northern Arizona. The advisory is for cities including: Prescott, Prescott Valley, Sedona and the Grand Canyon. The advisory will be in effect from 5 p.m. Tuesday through 6 p.m. Wednesday. During the advisory, Prescott could see four-to-eight inches of snow, while Prescott Valley, Sedona and the Grand Canyon could see between four-to-six inches of snow. It will be windy as well as winds could gust to 40 miles per hour. Forecasters say travel could be very difficult and patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. If you have to travel during this period, slow down and use caution. If you can put off travel, do so.
