A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect for areas above 65-hundred feet Wednesday evening through Thursday night. The advisory will be in effect for areas such as Williams, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. The National Weather Service says expect five-to-nine inches of snow in Flagstaff and Williams, with two-to-four inches of snow in Doney Park and two-to-four inches at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Areas of the San Francisco Peaks could see up to 20 inches of snow during this time. If you have to travel and encounter heavy snow, slow down and drive with caution.
