Winter Storm Warning Issued For Northern Arizona Through Early Saturday Morning

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for areas of Northern Arizona above 45-hundred feet through early Saturday morning. The warning is in effect for cities including: Flagstaff, Williams, the Grand Canyon, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Sedona. The National Weather Service says to expect 12-to-18 inches of snow in Flagstaff and Williams, seven-to-11 inches at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, eight-to-12 inches in Doney Park, four-to-eight inches of snow in Prescott and three-to-five inches in Prescott Valley and Sedona. Arizona Snowbowl could get between three-and-four feet of snow. Forecasters say travel will be very difficult to impossible through midnight Saturday morning. If you, or others, plan to travel, plan accordingly and if you don’t have to travel until Saturday, don’t.
