Winslow Police, coupled with DPS and the Navajo County Sheriff’s Department and others, made several arrests recently connected to the flow of illegal drugs. On March 16th, officers launched “Operation Clean Communities” to help clean up criminal activity in the area. As of Thursday, 16 people have been arrested by the task force, all from Winslow. Ages of those arrested range from 20-to-64. Heroin, meth, fentanyl and non-prescription marijuana have been taken off the streets. Since the operation began, there have been no reported overdoses of drugs in Winslow. If citizens of Winslow have information of suspected drug dealers in the city, there is a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of a suspect.
