A Winslow man has been arrested in connection with an assault of a 17-year-old girl. Officers were dispatched to the Little Colorado Medical Center last Thursday at around 11 a.m. on a report of a teenage girl claiming she was a victim of a domestic violence. She told officers she was at the home of 23-year-old Sean Hawley, who is an employee at the state prison in Winslow and was off-duty last Wednesday night and early Thursday morning when the attack happened. The girl claims the two were in a physical relationship for a few months. During the attack, the victim was held against her will and was injured. Officers went to Hawley’s home and arrested and booked Hawley into the Navajo County Jail on kidnapping, domestic violence and aggravated assault domestic violence charges. If anyone has information into the case, contact the Winslow Police Department.
