The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory and a Red Flag Warning for parts of Northern Arizona Thursday. The wind advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. for Flagstaff, Williams, Munds Park and the western Navajo Nation. Winds are expected to be 25-to-30 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour at times. A Red Flag Warning will be in effect from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. for the Grand Canyon, Valle and portions of the Kaibab National Forest. A Red Flag Warning means conditions are ripe for a fast-moving wildfire if one starts. If you have to travel Thursday, especially on Interstate 40 between Flagstaff and Seligman, use caution and drive with care.
