Wind Advisory, Red Flag Warning Cover Northern Arizona Friday

It’s going to be a windy day across Northern Arizona today. The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. today for Flagstaff, Williams and surrounding areas. Winds are expected to be 20-to-30 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour. A Red Flag Warning will be in effect for Winslow, Holbrook, parts of the Navajo Nation and the White Mountains from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. tonight. A Red Flag Warning means critical fire conditions will exist and any fire that sparks has the potential of spreading quickly. If you are traveling east on Interstate-40 today, take your time and use caution.
