Wind Advisory In Effect For Monday For Most Of Northern Arizona

A Wind Advisory will be in effect for Monday across most of Northern Arizona. The National Weather Service issued the advisory for between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Forecasters say winds will be 25-to-30 miles an hour with gusts of 40-to-50 miles an hour at times. The advisory was issued for areas from the Grand Canyon to Flagstaff to Show Low north to the Petrified Forest and Tuba City. There will also be a slight chance of snow showers in the Flagstaff area. If you have to travel on Monday, use caution and plan for extra time to get where you are going.
