The Williams Airport and Grand Canyon West airport will receive federal money for improvements. The Federal Aviation Administration announced the third round of grants for infrastructure improvements Tuesday. The H.A. Clark Memorial Field Airport in Williams will receive a 950-thousand dollar grant for runway, taxiway and apron improvements. Grand Canyon West Airport will receive 900-thousand dollars from the FAA to buy an aircraft rescue and firefighting vehicle. Five Arizona airports were awarded a total of two-point-five million dollars to go toward airport improvements.
