West Route 66 To Narrow To One Lane Overnights Starting Monday In Flagstaff

Road construction on West Route 66 will ramp up starting Monday. ADOT says the highly-traveled road will be narrowed to one lane in each direction to install a pedestrian hybrid beacon at the intersection of West Route 66 and Blackbird Roost Street, right across from The Standard construction site. Work is expected to last five weeks and will be done between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. There will be no work done on the project on the weekends or on the Fourth of July.
