Continental scored first, but West Flagstaff scored 16 unanswered runs to win the Major Little League Baseball District One title, 16-1, Friday night in East Flagstaff. Brison Burcar allowed a run on two hits in the first inning and then allowed just two hits over the next three and two-thirds innings to keep Continental at bay. Ben Clonts had a pair of hits and scored three runs in the win for West Flagstaff, which scored half of their 16 runs in the sixth inning. West Flagstaff will represent District One in the state tournament, which starts July 17th in Flagstaff as they take on the District Three champion in their opening round game at Dawson Field at Continental.
