Volunteers Desperately Needed To Fill Sandbags In Flagstaff

Volunteers are desperately needed to fill sandbags for residents in the flood prone areas of Sunnyside and north of Cedar Avenue. Coconino County and the City of Flagstaff estimate over 80-thousand sands bags are needed total. After this weekend, about 30-thousand have been filled. If you would like to help, the United Way of Northern Arizona is coordinating volunteer efforts. If you want to volunteer, head to the Coconino County Health and Human Services building at 2625 North King Street in Flagstaff between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. until further notice.
