A video doorbell is being credited for the arrest of a burglar recently in Prescott Valley. Police were called to a home in the 33-hundred block of North Robert Road back on September 27th at 8:44 a.m. on a report of a burglary in progress. The homeowner says he noticed someone in his home as he watched on his cell phone. Once police were notified and responded, the suspect was identified by neighbors. An officer attempted to contact the man, but he fled out of the back door. After a short pursuit, he was arrested. He has been identified as 24-year-old Anthony Shuck. He has been booked into the Yavapai County Jail on a charge of second degree burglary. The owner tells detectives he is missing several items, including a black Mossburg 12 gauge shotgun, which hasn’t been recovered.
