Two Women Were Killed On Westbound I-40 Near Williams Sunday

Two women were killed after an accident last Sunday near Williams. DPS officials say the accident happened at around 12:57 p.m. on westbound Interstate-40 about three miles west of Williams. Authorities say the driver of the first vehicle lost control of the vehicle due to weather conditions at the time. That vehicle ran into the second one, forcing both into the median where they came to a stop. When crews arrived on the scene, the driver and passenger of the first vehicle were pronounced dead. The driver was 30-years-old and the passenger was 19-year-old Delanie Royce from Victorville, California. The driver of the second vehicle was uninjured. Everyone involved in the accident were wearing seatbelts at the time.
