A car repair scam in Prescott Valley has hit at least three more victims. We told you Wednesday about two suspects that were targeting elderly people for vehicle repairs. The suspects tried to scam an elderly Dewey couple in the parking lot of the Prescott Valley Walmart then followed the couple back to their house and performed what they called work and charged them $55-hundred dollars for it. The couple didn’t pay them so they left. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say at least three additional victims have come forward, all of which were in their 70s. The truck is a white, 2018 half-ton Chevy Silverado with four doors, black vinyl bed cover and running boards. The truck has a temporary paper license plate. The suspects were in their 40s, one was a larger man while the other was smaller and had a small mustache. Both were about six-feet tall. If anyone has information on their whereabouts, call the Yavapai Sheriff’s Office at (928) 771-3260 or Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232.
