The driver of the SUV was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center initially, but was later flown to a Phoenix hospital. Both are in stable condition. Willow Creek Road between State Route 89 and Pioneer Parkway was closed for about two hours to crews could clear the scene. The accident remains under investigation, however police do not believe impairment was a factor in the case.
