Two Open Houses Regarding The Proposed Verde Connect Road To Take Place Next Week

A major road project that would connect Highway 260 with Cornville Road in the Verde Valley, will be discussed in open houses next week. The Verde Connect would create a north-south alternate route for Verde Valley residents, and it would be an alternate route for travelers if Interstate-17 is shut down due to an accident. One open house will take place in Cottonwood at the Cottonwood Recreation Center Tuesday night at 6 p.m. A second open house will be held in Camp Verde next Wednesday at the Camp Verde Schools Multi-Use Complex, also at 6 p.m.
