Two men were arrested at Phoenix’s Sky Harbor Airport last week, trying to take a private jet to Flagstaff and then to Disneyland. Phoenix Police say Joshua Heisler and Anthony Garcia were stopped by a Phoenix Police officer as they tried to walk through a gate at the airport last Monday as the officer was closing it. The officer told the men to stop and turn around. Heisler told the officer he was a sergeant with DPS and so was Garcia. Heisler had a plastic card that read “State of Arizona Department of Public Safety” at the top then “Level one fingerprint clearance card” with his name printed below it. The men were taken into custody. Police say Heisler had two airsoft guns that looked identical to Glock semiautomatic guns. Garcia denied being a law enforcement officer and said he was following Heisler, his boyfriend. Garcia says he was led to believe they were taking a private jet to Flagstaff and then on to Disneyland. They both are facing charges of criminal trespassing. Heisler is facing a second charge of impersonating an officer.
