Two people were injured in a shooting in Prescott Valley Sunday afternoon. Police say they received a report of a man shot in the 38-hundred block of Dowling Court in Prescott Valley at around 5:30 p.m. When officers arrived they saw two adults with gunshot wounds. The suspect remained at the scene and was arrested. Investigators say there were two couples at the home. A confrontation ensued between the two men when the suspect showed a gun and shot two people. The injured adults were taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center where they were treated and released. The suspect has been identified as 35-year-old Prescott Valley resident, Abraham Tovar-Noriega, who has been booked into the Yavapai County Detention Center on two counts of attempted second degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault, five counts of endangerment, misconduct involving weapons, unlawful discharge of a weapon, and disorderly conduct.
