The two 19-year-old hikers from Phoenix, were stranded in Meadow Canyon. They hiked into an area known as Hanging Gardens and lost their way on the way out. Crews arrived at the location at around 8:30 p.m. and were able to remove the hikers by a secured harness by 3 a.m. Thursday. Both were uninjured and didn’t require medical care. The two told rescuers they got information about the hike from YouTube and were minimally prepared for a day hike.
