Two Chino Valley Brothers Arrested In Connection With A Pair Of Paulden Burglaries

Two teenagers were arrested Monday in connection with a pair of Paulden burglaries. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say the crime was committed at a home in the 24-thousand block of Prairie Way. A female victim told deputies she was awaken at around 2:30 a.m. by an alert on her phone indicating a security video activation. Her husband grabbed a gun and searched the property and didn’t find anyone. The video shows two suspects tried to enter the garage next to the home. The couple says property was missing. A person indicated the two suspects, who are brothers, had bragged about stealing stereo equipment during a recent burglary. Deputies learned the two attend Chino Valley High School. School administrators were shown the video and identified the two by name. The suspects, ages 15 and 16, admitted to stealing the stereo and their father’s truck that night. During the investigation, a deputy assigned to another burglary talked to the two boys. They also admitted to the second burglary committed on Saturday. Deputies recovered a 47-inch TV that was stolen from that home. The two were booked into the Yavapai County Juvenile Detention Center on charges related to both burglaries.
