Two Arrested After Shots Fired In Prescott Valley This Week

Two men have been arrested after reports of multiple shots fired in Prescott Valley. Police say the first report came in from the 42-hundred block of North Papago Lane. One of the bullets hit a home and no one was injured. On Wednesday afternoon at around 3:30 p.m. another call came in identifying the suspects involved in the shooting and the vehicle they were in. Officers stopped the vehicle at Navajo Drive and Valley Road. The two suspects were passengers in the vehicle. Arrested were 19-year-old Joseph Levi Poindexter from Prescott valley and 21-year-old Nicholas Tyler Johnson from Phoenix. Poindexter was booked on seven felonies, including possession of a stolen gun, disorderly conduct with a weapon, unlawful discharge of a weapon and endangerment. Johnson was booked on three felonies in connection with the case. Authorities thank the anonymous person who called on Wednesday and credits them for the arrests.
