Today is Day Seven of Yavapai Silent Witness’s “Catch 22” program. Today we focus on locating 39-year-old Jared Neil Kelly. In the early evening of January 21st, 2019, Kelly was driving in the area of South State Route 260 and East Prairie Lane in Cottonwood. It was then when he collided with the rear end of another vehicle that was heading northbound into Cottonwood. Kelly fled the scene on foot, while the driver of the other vehicle sustained several injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. Kelly was found the next day at a home in Camp Verde. He admitted to the accident and leaving the scene for fear he would get a DUI. He was taken to the hospital and needed surgery that kept him there for 17 days. Lab work revealed numerous drugs in his system. He was not arrested at the time as it was an ongoing investigation. He is a Native American male, six-foot-one inch tall and 210 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. His last known address was on Valley Drive in Flagstaff. Kelly has a warrant out for his arrest. If anyone has information on his whereabouts, call Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232 or submit a tip at yavapaisw.com. A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.
