Trump, Biden Easily Win Their Parties Vote In Tuesday’s Arizona Presidential Preference Election

To no one’s surprise former President Donald Trump won Arizona’s Republican Presidential primary and President Biden won the state’s Democratic primary yesterday. On the Republican side, Trump gained 43 delegates by winning the primary with nearly 78-percent of the vote. However, Nikki Haley garnered almost 19-percent of the vote, getting just over 108-thousand votes. In Coconino County, Trump received 77-percent of the vote and in Yavapai County, the former president picked up 82-percent. On the Democratic side President Biden won all 72 delegates taking home nearly 90-percent of the vote. In Coconino County, Biden won 86-percent of the vote and in Yavapai County the president won 91-percent. Both candidates recently passed the number needed to be their party’s candidate heading into the general election.
