NAU forward Carson Towt scored ten points, grabbed 14 rebounds and dished out 11 assists for the first triple-double in nearly nine years for NAU, and the second-ever in school history, to lead NAU to a 101-54 win over the Embry Riddle Eagles Wednesday night at the Rolle Activity Center. Towt’s mark was the first triple double since Stallon Salvidar did it in 2012 against Eastern Washington. Nik Mains hit his first five three-pointers he shot and had six total in the first half for 18 points. Mains finished with an NAU record eight three’s in the game and finished with 24 points. Mains passed teammate Jalen Cone for the record, who had seven threes of his own for 21 points in the win. The Jacks snapped a four-game losing streak and will now head to Cedar City, Utah to take on the Southern Utah Thunderbirds Saturday night.
