The Town of Prescott Valley’s new police chief will be officially sworn in Thursday. Steven Roser comes to Prescott Valley from Phoenix, where he was a shift commander with the Phoenix Police Department. Roser served in the U.S. Air Force as a law enforcement specialist and has worked with Phoenix Police since 1990. Roser will be sworn in at 5:30 p.m. inside the public library’s auditorium at 7401 East Skoog Boulevard. He becomes the fifth police chief in Prescott Valley in the past 16 years.
