Today is the 23rd anniversary of the Phoenix Lights. That was the night back on March 13th, 1997 where many across the Phoenix area saw strange lights in the sky and couldn’t figure out what it was. Did you know reports of the strange lights started in Northern Arizona? There were many reports from the Prescott area of the lights before the story became the “Phoenix Lights.” Reports included a jet noise coming from the mysterious object. Reports stretched from Kingman to Tucson. The Air Force later said the lights were flares dropped by an A-10 over the Barry Goldwater Bombing Range in southwest Arizona. However, many don’t believe the Air Force’s reasoning and the mystery into the lights and sightings continue.
