Three people were arrested last week after Prescott Valley Police received a call of multiple people stealing merchandise in Gateway Mall in Prescott. A caller saw the getaway vehicle travel to the Crossroad Center in Prescott Valley back on October 17th. Officers saw the vehicle parked in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods with a male and female inside. A second female came out of the store with a bag and got in the vehicle and left. The woman was identified as 24-year-old Kelsey Lynn Prevat. Officers attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle didn’t stop. The first female, 22-year-old Alexandria Marie English, jumped from the front seat of the vehicle and ran toward the store. She was later taken into custody. The vehicle left the scene, but was later stopped by other officers. The driver was 28-year-old Cody James Wilkins. While inspecting the vehicle, a significant amount of items from several stores, as well as heroin, were found inside. All three were arrested and booked on charges related to the incident.
