Thomas Pristow Named Coconino County’s New Health And Human Services Director

Thomas Pristow has been named as the new Coconino County Health and Human Services Director. Pristow is currently the deputy commissioner of the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services. He oversees support services for the state’s child welfare, Medicaid, homelessness, child support, behavioral health, and public health. He directs a staff of three-thousand and manages a two-point-two billion dollar annual budget. Pristow is also a veteran of the Army and Marines. The Board of Supervisors is expected to confirm him during their August 27th meeting. He will start on August 26th.
