The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors has issued a proclamation designating a countywide emergency due to the coronavirus pandemic. The declaration will give county authorities additional resources and opportunities to protect residents. There has been one presumptive positive case in the county. A person from Sedona has tested positive for COVID-19. The proclamation doesn’t mean businesses are closing or imposing curfews, it means it gives the board more options by declaring a state of emergency. If you have any health questions, call the county’s hotline at 1-844-542-8201.
