The North Rim Of The Grand Canyon Has Reopened For The Summer

The North Rim of the Grand Canyon has reopened. Also opening for the summer season are the Grand Canyon Conservancy bookstore and the Backcountry Information Office. Hours are 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily. The North Rim Campground will reopen a week later, while the North Kaibab Trail between the North Kaibab Trailhead and Manzanita Rest Area will reopen June 16th. The Grand Canyon Lodge won’t be reopened until July 23rd due to repairs to a water pipeline. The lodge received more than 250 inches of snow this winter.
