The Navajo Nation registered its first death related to COVID-19 in three days Tuesday. Health officials say an additional death increases the death total to 60 on the reservation during the pandemic. There were also 104 new cases Tuesday to increase the total number of cases to 1,863. The total number of negative cases is up to 7,816 with 10,772 tests administered. Most of the positive cases are in McKinley County, New Mexico with 469. In Arizona, Navajo County has 442 cases, Apache County has 432 cases and Coconino County has 264 cases. The Navajo Nation will implement another weekend 57-hour curfew for the entire reservation starting Friday at 8 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m.
