The Flagstaff City Council will discuss airport parking at tonight’s work session. The Flagstaff Airport has seen a tremendous increase of traffic due to an added route to Dallas-Fort Worth on American Airlines and a United Airlines route to Denver. With the new routes the airport went from 177 passengers daily to just over 400 on average. They will discuss a temporary parking solution to provide better parking options for the public. Council will also discuss winter parking and a permanent parking system, which recently closed the request for information process. Council will also receive an update on the Flagstaff Metropolitan Planning Organization. The work session starts at 6 p.m. at City Hall. If you can’t attend the meeting, you can watch the session on the city’s website.
