The Flagstaff City Council will have a full agenda to go through when they return to the dais Tuesday afternoon at City Hall. Some of the highlights on the agenda includes a proposed development called “Presidio in the Pines,” which would be home to three building that would be home to 32 condos. The proposed development was defeated by the Planning and Zoning Commission two weeks ago, 3-2. If a majority of council agrees to discuss it further, a public hearing will be called and it will be placed on a future agenda. Also on the agenda will be a discussion to allocate $50-thousand for wastewater testing for COVID-19 at Flagstaff elementary and middle schools. Mayor Deasy called for a special session last week, which four members didn’t attend. The incident caused a war of words on social media between the mayor and others. Council will also hear a citizen’s petition seeking to limit the on-street parking of all recreational vehicles, including campers, boats, camping vehicles, trailers, and any other trailer, to 30 calendar days, with a possible appeal to the city for an additional 30-day extension, for a maximum limit of 60 days per calendar year. The meeting starts at 3 p.m. and has limited seating for those who want to attend. The meeting will also be streamed online at the city’s website.
