It’s a busy night for the Flagstaff City Council as they conduct a work session at City Hall. Council will discuss a proposed ordinance that would prohibit the sale of tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, to people under 21. The ordinance will be voted on at next Tuesday’s meeting. They will also receive an update on the Rio de Flag Flood Control Project. Members will also discuss an affordable housing ballot measure for the 2020 election and the establishment of an affordable housing commission. Also on the agenda is the need to develop a plan with consideration of zoning changes and multi-model development in advance of the work in the Fourth Street, Lone Tree and I-40 corridors. The work session begins at 6 p.m.
