The City Of Flagstaff Is Closing All Park Amenities Until Further Notice

The City of Flagstaff is closing all park amenities in the city until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The city is closing both dog parks at Thorpe Park and Bushmaster Park, all tennis courts, skate parks and the BMX park in Sunnyside. At this time, disc golf courses will remain open, as well as baseball and softball fields. Also trails and grass areas remain open for walking, hiking, biking and other outdoor recreation that can be done with responsible social and physical distancing. City officials say the moves were made with the resident’s safety in mind in an effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus. The new policy goes into effect today.
