The 10th Annual Whiskey Row New Year’s Eve Boot Drop in Prescott has been canceled due to the rise in COVID-19 cases. The event planners said in a statement, “we didn’t make this decision lightly. We just felt we couldn’t add to the stress of our healthcare workers and law enforcement and hope everyone stays safe and healthy this year.” Organizers say they are working on doing something virtually that may be announced soon. The event will still take place, but virtually at bootdrop.com.
