An 18-year-old man, wanted in connection with a shooting last Thursday night in Chino Valley, has turned himself in. Chino Valley Police says Kobe Buchanan of Paulden turned himself in to the Yavapai County Jail on Monday. At around 7:40 p.m. last Thursday, Chino Valley Police and Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 15-hundred block of Autumn Lane on a report of a weapon offense. When officers arrived they found an 18-year-old Chino Valley man had been shot in the arm and hip. After the shooting, Buchanan left the scene before officers arrived. Officers went to Buchanan’s house in Paulden and he wasn’t there. He had been missing until Monday. Buchanan has been booked on charges of aggravated assault, tampering with physical evidence and misconduct involving weapons.
