Summit Fire and Medical crews responded to a report of a vehicle fire Sunday afternoon on North Highway 89. Fire officials say the fire was on the southside of the highway near milepost 432 at around 2:35 p.m. When crews arrived they found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames and all of its occupants outside the vehicle. Crews quickly controlled the fire, preventing it from further spreading into the nearby forest. A water tender provided support and additional water to ensure a quick resolution to the incident.
