Stolen Railroad Equipment Found At A Home North Of Ash Fork Tuesday

Coconino County Sheriff’s deputies recovered stolen railroad property west of Williams Tuesday. Deputies were notified by BNSF Police that railroad property was stolen from a work site near the railroad tracks north of Interstate-40 and Welch Road. Several items were missing, including power tools. Investigators received information about the stolen items Tuesday, including the power tools, at a home in Kaibab Estates West north of Ash Fork. Deputies went to the scene and found most of the stolen items. No arrests have been made in the case, however it remains under investigation.
