State Senator Wendy Rogers Answers Harassment Complaint Monday

LD6 State Senator Wendy Rogers has responded to a harassment complaint made by one of her former staffers. According to the complaint, Rogers yelled and cussed out the former aide after he told her he couldn’t work after contracting COVID-19. The former staffer says Rogers also made comments about his weight and religion and that she wanted him to do campaign work from her Senate office. The document Rogers submitted Monday morning says she believes “the allegation by the complainant alleging I created a hostile work environment is not true, therefore, the alleged, untrue allegations do not constitute improper conduct that adversely reflects upon the Senate.” She says the “alleged matter is not a matter of Senate Ethics.” The matter now goes to Senate Ethics Committee chairwoman Sine Kerr to decide the next course of action
