Some Northern Arizona airports will be receiving federal aid due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Federal Aviation Administration will award nearly $225-million dollars to 59 Arizona airports as part of the CARES Act Airport Grant Program. Flagstaff’s Pulliam Airport will receive over $18.1-million dollars, Grand Canyon Airport will get over $3.4-million dollars, Prescott’s Love Field will get just over a million dollars, Cottonwood’s airport will get 69-thousand dollars and 20-thousand each will go to Winslow, Sedona and Williams airports. The FAA says the funds will be available for airport capital expenditures, airport operating expenses including payroll and utilities and airport debt payments.
