Areas of Northern Arizona have seen very little snow so far this winter, but the National Weather Service says this week should change that. Forecasters say a series of storm systems are expected to move across the state, and with the help from a cutoff low off the California coast, should bring snow showers to the area starting Monday night and lasting through the weekend. The first wave is expected to bring one-to-two inches for much of the area, including Page and Tuba City Monday night and Tuesday. Rain is expected below 6,000-feet, with snow showers above through the middle part of the week. Forecasters say another wet, cold front is expected to move across the state Friday and Saturday and could bring higher snowfall. Officials say to stay tuned.
