Skull Valley Woman Swerves Off Road Causing Rollover Accident Sunday In Kirkland

A Skull Valley woman was involved in a single vehicle rollover accident Sunday afternoon in Kirkland. Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene at 2:45 p.m. on County Road 15 to find the driver, 78-year-old Judy Burgess, had swerved off the roadway and hit a bush, which caused the vehicle to roll over. Authorities were able to get her out of the vehicle, and she did not appear to be injured. Burgess was able to tell authorities what happened, but as a precaution, she was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center where staff confirmed she was okay. The accident is still under investigation, but driver impairment does not seem to be a factor.
